Fragmenta Imperii is an RP space that inherently touches on dark themes and harsh elements of a former authoritarian regime. As a result of this, it is our first and foremost desire that no such beliefs are held amongst our playerbase OOC. We have a zero tolerance policy for matters of idolization or holding of fascist beliefs, racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other elements of bigotry.
The delicate nature of our themes means that consent is king within our RP space. We have a robust set of rules of engagement within the space including detailed elements of expected consent checks and the importance of collaborative communication in elements of controlled narrative conflict.
Our space is LGBTQIA+ friendly, and is run from top to bottom by a dedicated team of individuals that includes a number of queer identified officers and staff. We take these matters seriously, and have a proactive community officer team that ensures the safety and comfort of our members.
In short, fuck nazis, transphobes, homophobes, racists, fascists, bigots, those that tolerate them, and fuck everyone against human rights and all the other bad kinds of people.

The collapse of Garlemald has left her people scattered. Some have taken to foreign lands, reliant on the aid of former enemies, others have struck out on their own, their military past traded in exchange for mercenary's coin. Other still seek to rebuild alongside The Contingent, talk of a new Republic on the lips of those that would sell out their own nation for a promise of help. The Vth Legion demands more.
Fragmenta Imperii is the last standing legion of a once proud Empire. The remnants of the Vth have established themselves at Castrum Praesidium Glaciale, just North of what remains of the capital ruins. What was once the crown jewel of the Imperial homeland now sits, a barren and deadly frontier plagued by scavengers, rogue war machina, and those who would try to profit by picking clean the bones of the Empire.
While the provisional government seeks to appease the Eorzean Contingent with promises of a Republic, they do naught for their people who yet suffer in desperate camps and makeshift towns that surround the remains of their old home. The Vth is not content to stand by and let chaos rule, nor do they seek to bend the knee to former enemies.
In a land now near bereft of rule of law, strength determines all, and with the might of their Legion Fragmenta seeks to mold the future with iron grip, and steel in their resolve. Pride will not feed Garlemald's people. Promises not warm their hearths. And posturing do naught to put roofs over their heads. The Fragmenta Imperii of the Vth Legion would not simply see the Empire rebuilt, but reborn and forged from the smoldering ashes of what remains into something greater than it ever was before.
The future of Garlemald will be swayed by the people... And if the people are to decide, then let us ensure we sway them. The Vth is united under one banner, and with one purpose. The Empire of old was flawed, but to be rid of it entirely. To sell it's people's very soul out from under them to appease foreign interests is a mistake. The Fragmenta Imperii seek to rebuild. To provide home and shelter to a people who have suffered enough at the hands of the Eorzeans and their influence. Through elements of military strength, ingenuity, security, and propaganda, the Vth are slowly rebuilding homes and providing food and supplies. The loyalty of Garlemald is shifting. And when the Empire rises again, The Fragmenta Imperii will hold the hearts and minds of it's people in the palm of their hands.
The Fragmenta Imperii are made up of soldiers, medics, engineers, scientists, officers and civilians. They are flawed, imperfect people, villainous, and oft cruel in their determination. Doubts, rivalries, and struggles of decisions that have no right answers mark the simple, but heavy elements of their day to day lives on the frontier of a collapsed civilization, where no one is the main character, and all must struggle to succeed and survive together.
Resources are scarce, and not everything is as easy as buying aid with coin or influence. Difficult choices often need be made, and compromise is the crux of survival. When nothing is certain, sheer will, determination, and the work of a legion together, is all that stands between the rebuilding of a new future and starvation.
Imperial hierarchy and prejudice remain a part of Garlemald even in the wake of the collapse. Those not of Garlean blood are likely to experience inequality and sometimes even open hostility. While the times are changing, not all changes quickly, and for some letting go of the past is nearly more difficult than building a new future.
All actions have consequences. They ripple across time, from one person to the next. Every choice comes at a cost, and every decision carries the weight of how it might affect others. While victory might come through mutual sacrifice, it is never achieved flawlessly.
Fragmenta Imperii welcomes villains in character, but not out of character. We draw a very hard line between narrative elements of fiction and the motivations of villainous characters, and the motivations of the people who write them. If you are here searching for a power fantasy that feeds into ideals of facism, racism, hatred and bigotry, then you are in the wrong place. You are welcome to see yourself out as you will find no quarter here.
